The third season of the NBC American supernatural drama series Grimm was announced on April 26, 2013. It is set to consist of 22 episodes. The series, created by David Greenwalt, Jim Kouf and Stephen Carpenter,
follows a descendant of the Grimm line, Nick Burkhardt, as he deals
with being a cop, and trying not to expose his secret as a Grimm.
Synopsis:
Homicide Detective Nick Burkhardt of the Portland Police Bureau
learns he is descended from a line of "guardians" known as "Grimms",
charged with keeping balance between humanity and the mythological
creatures of the world called Wesen, the German word for being or creature
(pronounced "vessin" on the show; German pronunciation: [ˈveːzn̩]).
Throughout the series, he must battle against an assortment of dangerous
creatures, with help from his friend Monroe (who is a reformed
creature), and his partner Detective Hank Griffin.
